Yeezy and Yeezy team are the most innovative footwear brand right now. Fastest moving footwear brand definitely. So many new refreshing and unorthodox ideas in footwear. There’s such a fearlessness and boundless approach to footwear that hasn’t been seen before. Where other footwear brands are putting limits and boundaries on the ideas that can be done to sneakers. Maybe because it’s too taboo. Never been seen before, and never been done that way. Going against the standard. Where Kanye and his team are just gonna try whatever they feel, make and innovative groundbreaking footwear products. Popping up with multiple amazing silhouettes a year. That’s definitely not something you see in footwear. Having all these new silhouettes that consumers will accept and are well receiving of. Like you haven’t seen Jordan Brand pop up with a new silhouette that has been universally well received in probably over 2 decades, in the early 2000s basically. Reason why I have Yeezy over Jordan. Jordan 1, 3, and 4 are forever iconic. Probably can’t bump them out of top 10 silhouettes of all time. But Jordan brand has had probably under 15 successful silhouettes in their 36 year span. Those are inefficient numbers. With a lot of failed sneakers. ie: Team Jordan’s. While Yeezy has had 15+ new successful silhouettes in the past 5-6 years. With a lot more to come.
Yeezy definitely the most tasteful footwear brand I believe. You can feel it’s all about the product. It feels like the energy is going into footwear innovation. Not capitalism, that you feel like the other brands are doing. So much work are put into those silhouettes. The most tasteful designers are there crafting products that are very functional. High level comfort. A beautiful expression of feeling crafted in product.
Yeezy especially the newer silhouettes have just been very complementary to a variety of what you wear. Even the slides. I’ve seen slides and suits that worked. They’re also killing the boot game. Just taking it to the next level. I need all Yeezy boots.
So my final verdict. Yeezy may be my favorite footwear brand, and I feel is the best. Definitely top 3. Ye just started, and is already amongst the top. More time and Yeezy could be King of Footwear.
