“This is how I feel. Often people will say when you’re making a brand, album, whatever, they’ll say you need a story to center around, or deep in your foundation. I never liked that sentiment, always disagreed. For me it’s all about feeling, feeling, feeling, and just find ways to express & articulate that in whatever facet you’re in. I don’t care for existing established stories. I like to deal with feelings & emotions, especially ones that I can’t fully understand or comprehend. But I’ll do my best to express those feelings. That’s where you expand discovery and innovations, find beautiful new truths and epiphanies. More deeply understand life.
Working or centering around pre-existing stories can be cool, you can still make great stuff, but lowers the possibility of magnitude of expression. It’s more exciting dealing with the unknowns of feelings & life. And tapping into more hyper-expressive forms of creations.”
